Should my painting contractor have insurance?
All painters should have both general liability and workers compensation insurance.

General Liability Insurance covers any damage that may occur in your home. Of course, a good painting contractor will be very careful and make safety a high priority. Hiring a painter with liability insurance means you are not at financial risk should something happen.

Worker’s Compensation Insurance is another important coverage that a good house painter should carry.  In the unlikely event of an accident on your project, you will not be at risk of a lawsuit, since the Worker’s Compensation is designed to protect both you and the employee.

Skibco Painting is covered by both general liability and worker’s compensation insurance.  We will gladly provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

What brand of paint do you use?
Not all paints are the same.  In other words,  you get what you pay for. IE, if you buy a cheaper quality, low grade paint of any brand, that’s what you’ll get. However, if you buy a good quality paint of any brand, it will be more durable, hold up a lot better in the long run and you’ll paint less often.

Skibco Painting uses only quality paint from Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.

Do you employ or subcontract your painters?
At Skibco Painting all of our painters are employees.  Our painters are trained and have high expectations.  This way we are able to offer high quality of work at a reasonable price.
